The automaker stated on March 18 it would cease production at its German vegetation to keep its workforce protected and healthy. The work stoppage was to final no less than two weeks, but on April 6, the company decided to formally postpone manufacturing till April 14. On March 26, Toyota reassessed the situation and mentioned the manufacturing suspension will now final until April 20. On March 17, Volkswagen Group introduced it will droop production at quite a few production sites across Europe, including Slovakia, Portugal and Spain.
